Laying a rolled lawn, it would seem, is a straightforward matter. Work for an hour: bring, put and roll out evenly, like a self-assembled tablecloth. In fact, the process of installing artificial grass is far from the only and not the initial stage.

Stages of choosing a rolled lawn

1. Selection of a specific type, based on the characteristics of the soil and the tasks that the rolled lawn will perform. The range of artificial wooden flooring is diverse in terms of herb composition, functionality, breakdown methods, and expiration dates.
2. Site preparation. Perhaps the most time-consuming process, which includes the complete cleaning of the site from weeds and debris. Large areas are disked and small ones can be dug up. If the soil is too wet or if water remains on the surface for a long time after rain, drainage is necessary.
3. Irrigation system. Whatever rolled lawn you use, you still need to water it, especially in the heat. Upgrading a small garden, a house adjoining territory of several square meters requires 2-3 buckets of water. When it comes to large areas, it is worth considering an automatic irrigation system. In this case, it is necessary to dig trenches and run plumbing and it is better to do this before buying grass rolls.
4. Soil preparation. The surface is leveled as much as possible. For a quick adaptation of the rolled lawn, it is better to evenly distribute the black soil, as well as add mineral fertilizers.
5. Rammer. It is necessary to carefully compact the surface with a roller, log or any other convenient method until no traces remain after walking. Without tamping, the turf sags, the irregularities become more and more noticeable.
6. Laying. The first row joins with a flat surface: a curb, the edge of a garden path, etc. Roll out the roll along this even line, completing the first row. Next lay out in a checkerboard pattern. After laying out, they pass along the artificial flooring with a skating rink, removing the air between the rolls and the soil, as well as improving their docking.
